Our journey began in 2023 with a shared commitment to enhance the quality of life for older adults in Sister Bay and Liberty Grove.  In 2025, we expanded services to residents in Baileys Harbor and Ephraim. Fueled by the desire to create a supportive ecosystem where everyone is valued and cared for, this program emerged as a beacon of hope and compassion.

Inspired by the successful Village model, developed over two decades ago and now flourishing with a network of over 300 villages nationwide, Senior Advocacy for Independent Living embodies the true spirit of community-driven senior advocacy. We are dedicated to ensuring that our community's older adults receive comprehensive support and services tailored to their unique needs, right here in our own neighborhoods.

We will tirelessly work to connect older adults with the resources and assistance they need to age in place with dignity and independence. From essential services like grocery shopping and errand running to companionship and social events, our volunteers are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly neighbors.
