Our Advisory Council and committees how neighbors shape a community where older adults can age well at home. You don’t need special credentials—just an interest in contributing your skills, ideas, or time in a way that fits you.
The Advisory Council provides shared leadership and strategic guidance to ensure SAIL remains strong, sustainable, and centered on supporting older adults to age well at home and in community.

Activities:
- Receive and review reports and recommendations from each committee
- Support committee leads in carrying out goals and annual work plans
- Identify organizational needs and potential opportunities
- Recommend policy and program changes that strengthen SAIL
- Approve recommendations for new or enhanced services
- Evaluate progress toward annual goals and strategic priorities
- Serve as ambassadors for SAIL within the community
Your Contribution:
About 3–4 hours per month, including a monthly meeting and follow-up actions based on priorities. Some members also attend special meetings or community engagement opportunities, depending on interest and availability.
